Beyşehir lies west of Konya on the shore of Lake Beyşehir, Türkiye's largest freshwater lake. The wooden-columned Eşrefoğlu Mosque, on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2023, the historic bridge at the lake's outlet, the remains of Kubadabad Palace and the Hittite monument of Eflatunpınar are its main sights; the lake has islands and fine sunsets.
