These terms apply to persons who use Citiveo as visitors and to persons who list or claim ownership of a business on Citiveo. By using Citiveo you agree to these terms.

1. What Citiveo is and is not
Citiveo is a city guide and business directory. It compiles places, events, routes and local knowledge about the city, and enables businesses to manage their own pages and publish campaigns.
Citiveo is not an intermediary:
- We do not take reservations, make sales, or collect payments.
- We do not charge commission on the sales of listed businesses.
- Guides are listed in the directory; Citiveo does not organise tours and does not provide guiding or agency services.
- For activities, we list providers; Citiveo does not organise the activity, and responsibility for safety and competence lies with the provider.
Any relationship you establish with a business is established directly with that business.
2. Accuracy of information
The information on pages is provided for informational purposes only. Opening hours, prices, menus and facilities are largely entered by the business itself; some information is compiled from publicly available sources. We cannot guarantee that such information is current. We recommend that you verify critical details (whether the business is open, pricing, availability) directly with the business before setting out.
Live data such as weather, flight schedules, on-duty pharmacies and exchange rates are sourced from third-party providers; these sections may temporarily be unavailable when a provider experiences an outage. Prayer times are calculated from the city's coordinates.
3. Your account
- Registration is carried out by e-mail and password; you are required to verify your e-mail address.
- You are responsible for the security of your account; do not share your password.
- Opening an account on behalf of another person or using a false identity is prohibited.
- You may delete your account at any time from your profile (subject to a 30-day waiting period).
4. Reviews and user content
To write a review you must have an account and must have verified your visit to the business by having your coupon validated at the till (QR check-in); reviews on Citiveo come exclusively from verified visits. Your reviews:
- must be based on a genuine experience;
- must not contain defamatory content, hate speech, disclosure of personal data, or advertising;
- must not constitute competitor disparagement or paid-for content.
You retain the rights in photographs you upload; by uploading them you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free and transferable licence to use them on Citiveo and in Citiveo's promotional materials. You may delete them at any time.
Reviews and photographs are subject to moderation. We reserve the right not to publish, to remove, or to edit content that violates these rules.
5. Rules for businesses
Claiming a listing. A business page may be claimed only by an authorised person; we will request verification documentation upon application.
Accuracy. Every piece of information you enter on your page constitutes your representation and you are obliged to ensure it is accurate. False representations (for example, marking a facility that is not provided, or a cuisine designation such as "halal") may be reported and may result in the removal of your listing.
Review. Changes to fields such as name, description, photographs, menu, website and social-media accounts may be reviewed before publication; operational fields such as opening hours and telephone number are published immediately.
Campaigns and coupons. The maximum discount rate is 25%. Coupons are single-use and are validated at the till. You are obliged to honour any campaign you publish in accordance with its stated terms; you may not subsequently reduce the discount rate stated on the code held by the customer.
Prohibited conduct. It is prohibited to list illegal products or services, to display misleading prices, to publish fictitious campaigns, to impersonate another party's brand, or to use the platform for spam.
6. Paid visibility
Business pages are free of charge and we do not suppress businesses that do not pay. Paid packages purchase visibility and tools only (contact buttons, campaigns, higher-ranking placement, analytics). Ranking is a combination of factors including paid package and score; the city assistant's responses do not take the package into account.
7. Takedown requests
If you believe that any content infringes your rights, please notify us at support at citiveo.com, specifying the URL of the content and the grounds for your request. We will assess the notification and, where necessary, remove the content.
You may request that your business be removed from the directory. If you dispute the accuracy of information compiled from publicly available sources, you may also submit a correction request to the same address.
8. Limitation of liability
Citiveo provides its service "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- the goods and services provided by listed businesses;
- the accuracy of information entered by businesses;
- outages affecting third-party data providers; or
- indirect losses arising from any of the foregoing.
Provisions relating to consumers' mandatory statutory rights are reserved.
9. Amendments and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version will be published on this page with a "last updated" date. We will notify account holders of material changes. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey; the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction over any disputes. The right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts in respect of consumer disputes is reserved.
