What is Citiveo
Citiveo is a city guide that brings together everything you need to genuinely use a city, and a local business platform where businesses in that city manage their own pages — all in one place.
A city page combines weather, on-duty pharmacies, exchange rates, flight boards, public transport, prayer times, festivals, routes and places to visit. Which of these features are enabled is determined city by city — beaches in Antalya, coves and beaches in Muğla, flight boards in İstanbul.
How we work
Everyone is listed. A business does not need to pay to appear on Citiveo. We do not hide businesses that have not paid; paid packages purchase visibility and tools only.
We take no commission. We do not handle reservations, make sales, or take a share of any business's revenue. Coupons are redeemed at the business's own till; money stays directly between the customer and the business.
Deals are for quiet hours. Our coupon model is built around filling a business's off-peak slots; the discount ceiling is 25%, because deeper discounts eat into the business's margin and attract one-time customers only.
Guides and activity providers are listed, not organised. We list tourist guides in our directory and, in countries where licensing is mandatory, we publish only guides whose credentials have been verified. Citiveo does not organise tours.
What we care about
- Honest gaps. If information is unavailable, we do not fabricate it; we write "no data".
- Money does not determine ranking everywhere. The city assistant's responses do not look at package tier.
- Multilingual from the start. Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian and German; the infrastructure is ready for fifty languages. Arabic right-to-left is fully supported.
- Local accuracy. On-duty pharmacy data follows Turkey's official system; prayer times are calculated according to the country's official calculation method.
