About
Valley of 5,600 metres named after the Zemi stream, lying between the Ürgüp-Nevşehir and Göreme-Ortahisar roads. The Governorship gives about 4 hours as an easy walking time. It contains the 11th-century Karabulut Church, the Sarnıç Church that once served as a cistern, and the El Nazar Church; cherry, apricot, plum, pear and hazelnut trees grow along it.
Curator tip
The Governorship notes two steep descents where a rope may be needed.
