About
Complex built in 1726-1727 for Nevşehirli Damat İbrahim Pasha, grand vizier of the Tulip Era. It consists of a mosque, madrasa, caravanserai, primary school, soup kitchen, bath and two fountains. The mosque stands on a raised platform on sloping ground under a large dome. It is regarded as one of the last applications of the classical Ottoman complex layout.
