About
Rock-cut church east of Göreme in the Zemi Valley, with a free cross plan, three apses and a central dome. The south wall shows the life of Christ, the north wing scenes of his childhood and Passion. UNESCO cites the 10th-century El Nazar Kilise among the example buildings of the World Heritage property.
