Adalar is the district made up of the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, chiefly Büyükada, Heybeliada, Burgazada and Kınalıada. There are no private cars on the islands; people get around by electric vehicle, bicycle and on foot. They are known for wooden mansions, pine woods and coves; ferries run from Kabataş, Kadıköy and Bostancı.
