About
Provincial museum founded in 1967 and moved to the Culture Centre building in 1987. It shows pottery, jewellery, glass, marble sculpture and oil lamps from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze, Iron, Archaic, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods, plus coins from the Greek to the Ottoman era. An ethnography section displays regional folk objects.
