About
Multi-level underground settlement carved into tuff at Kaymaklı. Four floors have been uncovered so far, with rooms grouped around ventilation shafts. It has stables, worship spaces with altars, storerooms, wineries and an andesite grinding block with 57 holes. It opened to visitors in 1964 and is a component of the UNESCO World Heritage property.
