About the festival
Organised for the fourth time by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, the festival brings growers of balcony and garden plants and honey producers together in Kültürpark. Over three days, stands of 44 local growers and 5 cooperatives and of 12 honey producers are open from 10:00 to 22:00. Visitors can buy seedlings, ornamental and vegetable plants and local honey directly from producers, and there are food and drink areas. On 30 October there is no stage programme because of the anniversary of the İzmir earthquake. The official opening with the municipal band is on 31 October, and local artists give afternoon concerts on 31 October and 1 November.
