The Bığbığ Orman Sarmaşığı Natural Monument is a common ivy (Hedera helix L.) growing at Bığbığ on the Meydan plateau in the Aladağ district of Adana. Declared a natural monument on 6 June 1994, the protected area covers 0.1 hectares. It lies about 90 km from Adana and 10 km from the centre of Aladağ. The ivy is estimated to be around 4,000 years old. It reaches 20 metres in height, with a stem circumference of 7.22 metres and a stem diameter of 2.30 metres. There are no visitor facilities on site; the activity here is observing the plant where it grows. Visitors are expected to follow the warning signs in the area. The natural monument is managed by the 7th Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
