The Acıkise Oriental Plane Natural Monument protects an old oriental plane tree (Platanus orientalis) standing at the Ağcakise locality in the Aladağ district of Adana. The protected site covers about 0.1 hectares and was registered as a natural monument on 13 September 2002. It lies 4 km from the centre of Aladağ and 94 km from the city of Adana. The tree is estimated to be around 1,000 years old. It reaches a height of 24 metres, with a recorded trunk circumference of 4.08 metres and a trunk diameter of 2.30 metres. There are no visitor facilities on site; the monument is a place to stop briefly and observe a long-lived plane tree in its natural setting.
