Über den Ort
Ancient city of about 3 km² on a hillside above the Lykos valley near Yenicekent in Buldan. Known as Apollonia in the Hellenistic period, it was renamed Tripolis under Augustus. Excavations since 2012 have uncovered a theatre, baths, churches, fountains, agoras and housing areas.
