Nevşehir Simit

A sesame-free, roughly rectangular bread made with chickpea starter, water and flour, marked with oval rings on top and made without added sugar. Stored properly it keeps for 7–10 days; it is eaten with local cheeses or grape molasses. Registered by the Nevşehir Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Chambers.
