Tavas burnt sheep's-milk yoghurt

Yoghurt made from sheep's milk by a traditional method in Tavas. It is defined by a burnt, caramel-like taste and smell, firm texture, cream colour and a fatty cream layer on top, with no additives. Registered as an indication of source in 2024 on the application of Tavas Municipality.
