Aslanhane (Ahi Şerefettin) Mosque

Late 13th-century wooden hypostyle mosque near Ankara Castle. Masonry outer walls enclose rows of wooden columns supporting a flat wooden ceiling. In 2023 it became one of the five mosques inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as the Wooden Hypostyle Mosques of Medieval Anatolia.
