Trabzon Museum (Kostaki Mansion)

Built in the early 1900s for a banker, the mansion opened as a museum in 2001 after restoration between 1987 and 2001. The basement holds archaeological finds from the Bronze Age to the Ottoman period, the ground floor shows furnished period rooms, and the upper floor has ethnographic collections. The archaeology section includes a 2nd-century AD bronze statue of Hermes.
