About
Cut-stone mosque built in 1517 by Yunus Pasha, vizier of Sultan Selim I. It is also called the Kurşunlu (lead) Mosque after its lead-covered dome. Molten lead was used between the stones instead of mortar, and it had underfloor heating linked to the adjacent bathhouse.
