About
Mosque in central Avanos made up of a rectangular east-west prayer hall and a domed section. It is entered through a canopy-style door on four columns and was enlarged with extra units in the Ottoman period. In 1935 the interior was divided into two rooms for Quran classes; the minaret is a later replacement.
