Dalaman, in south-eastern Muğla, is best known for the airport serving Fethiye, Göcek and Marmaris. Rafting runs on the Dalaman river, and the wooded Kapıdağ peninsula and Sarsala bay are reached by boat or car. Göcek is about 20 km away.
