District of Sığacık's walled village, ancient Teos and Türkiye's first Cittaslow town.
Seferihisar is a coastal district south-west of İzmir; in 2009 it became Türkiye's first Cittaslow (slow city). It is known for Sığacık with its houses inside the castle walls and its marina, ancient Teos, the coves of Akarca and tangerine orchards; Sığacık's producers' market draws visitors from the city.
