About the festival
The Bosphorus Film Festival is a cinema festival held in Istanbul by the Boğaziçi Culture and Arts Foundation with support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; 2026 marks its 14th edition. Its main prize is the Golden Dolphin, and it runs national and international feature competitions, a short film competition and a national documentary competition, with short films also considered for the Ahmet Uluçay Grand Award. Besides competition screenings, the programme includes special screenings, director Q&As, masterclasses, workshops and panels. The previous edition screened at Beyoğlu venues such as Atlas 1948 and the AKM Yeşilçam Cinema; this year's venues are listed on the festival website.
