Bağdat Avenue
The Asian side's long avenue for shopping and cafés.

Bağdat Avenue is a broad, tree-lined avenue on the Asian side, running from Kadıköy towards Bostancı. Along Göztepe, Erenköy, Caddebostan and Suadiye it is lined with shops, cafés, restaurants and patisseries, and it is the best-known shopping street on the Asian side.
The pavements fill up at weekends; the seaside park running parallel to the avenue is a good escape for a walk or a bike ride.
Getting there: get off Marmaray at Göztepe, Erenköy, Suadiye or Bostancı; the avenue is a short walk from each station.
