About
Tavşanburnu Nature Park is a 15.87-hectare coastal area in the Didim district of Aydın, on the edge of Didim, a historic and touristic ancient city; it was designated in 2011. Alongside sparse natural junipers, the site has stone pine, eucalyptus and Cyprus acacia planted in groups through afforestation, while ironwood, catalpa and ash were planted as individual trees. The maquis includes Greek strawberry tree, wild olive, mock privet, holm oak and kermes oak, and the ground is covered with ivy, rockrose, thyme and various meadow grasses. Most of the areas used for camping and picnics are shaded. Its shallow, clean sea and views at sunrise and sunset add to the park's recreational potential, and both tent and caravan camping are possible.
Entry hours (DKMP, October 2026): 08:00–20:30.
