About
A national park of about 27,600 hectares south of Kuşadası, declared in 1966. It covers a mountainous peninsula, coves and the Büyük Menderes delta, and is a breeding area for birds such as the Dalmatian pelican and pygmy cormorant. The coves are used for swimming and snorkelling.
