Aydın's southern shore: the Temple of Apollo, Altınkum beach and Akbük bay.

Didim is at the south-western tip of Aydın on the Aegean. It is known for the giant columns of the Temple of Apollo at ancient Didyma, the shallow sandy beach of Altınkum, its marina and Akbük bay; ancient Miletus is also in the district and Lake Bafa is close by.
