Über den Ort
Museum first opened in 1901 and housed in its present building since 1962. Its Neolithic to Byzantine collection includes finds from Çatalhöyük, Phrygian vessels, Roman bronze statuettes and sarcophagi, and a 6th-century floor mosaic from the Tatköy church. As of 4 October 2026 the muze.gov.tr page lists it as closed.
