Lake Eymir

Über den Ort

S-shaped lake in Gölbaşı, about 20 km south of the city centre, on Middle East Technical University (METU) land. It is about 4.2 km long and covers 108.8 hectares. The surroundings were turned into forest by planting that began after 1956. It has two entrances and is open to the public; private cars need a special permit.
