Ortahisar Fatih Mosque (Panagia Chrysokephalos)

Originating in 914, the Church of Panagia Chrysokephalos served as the cathedral of the Empire of Trebizond. The three-aisled, cross-plan building was converted into a mosque after the conquest, when a minaret, mihrab and minbar were added. It has an opus sectile marble floor.
