About

Built in 1904–1905 as the town hall and used from 18 November 1921 as the headquarters of the Western Front Command, where plans for the Great Offensive were made. It became a museum in 1966 and shows Atatürk's belongings, War of Independence documents and photographs, and the offices of İsmet Pasha and Asım Gündüz. It is closed for maintenance from 14 September to 14 November 2026.
