Taşdede Pırnal Oak Natural Monument

Taşdede Pırnal Oak Natural Monument is a protected holm oak (pırnal meşesi) in the Dikili district of İzmir. The 1.5-decare site where it grows was declared a natural monument on 29 September 1994. The tree is about 250 years old, 10 metres tall, with a trunk diameter of 1 metre and a circumference of 3 metres. According to the records, it is in good overall condition. The natural monument status protects both the tree and the surrounding 1.5-decare plot.
