Gümüldür Nature Park

Gümüldür Nature Park is a 7.4-hectare area in Gümüldür, in the Menderes district of İzmir, where forest meets the sea. Designated on 11 July 2011, the park has a long sandy beach. The park and its surroundings are used for nature walks, photo safaris, cycling and water sports. Facilities include a country restaurant, a kiosk, a bakery and picnic units, as well as a tent camping and caravan area, so the site is suitable both for day trips and for overnight camping. Gümüldür is 64 km from the centre of İzmir, 30 km from the Menderes district centre and 39 km from Adnan Menderes Airport, and the park is reached by an asphalt road.
