About
A museum inside Çeşme Castle, which was enlarged under Bayezid II in 1508. It shows finds from the Bronze Age settlement of Bağlararası and from Erythrai, amphorae from sea trade and a display on the 1770 Ottoman-Russian naval battle.
Curator tip
According to the Ministry page, the west and south fronts of Umurbey Tower and the naval battle and stone-works halls are temporarily closed.
