About
The hilltop upper city of Pergamon, capital of the Attalid dynasty from the 3rd century BC. It has a steep theatre, the foundations of the Altar of Zeus and gymnasium remains; it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014. An audio guide is available.
