About
Hand embroidery made by counting and drawing threads out of the fabric and wrapping the remaining threads with a needle; there is an 'antique' type on white or cream cloth and a coloured type. Motifs such as lentil, liver and spider are worked entirely by hand. Applicant: Gaziantep Development Foundation.
