About

Ayazmapınarı Nature Park is a small 5.85-hectare area within the boundaries of Evciler village in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale, designated a nature park on 11 July 2011. It lies 99.5 km from central Çanakkale and 29.1 km from Bayramiç; with no public transport, visitors need their own vehicle. The vegetation consists of chestnut, hornbeam, oak, lime, beech, terebinth, phillyrea and ferns. A notable species is the large-spotted trout, which lives in the cold mountain waters; frogs, salamanders, snakes and lizards also occur. Because the Kazdağları lie on bird migration routes, birds such as blackbird, wood pigeon, greylag goose, partridge and eagle can be seen. Brown bear, wolf, golden jackal, roe deer, badger and red fox live in the region. The park has an entrance control point, a country restaurant, an amphitheatre, a small mosque, a children's playground, toilets and picnic units, and offers nature walks, photography and wildlife watching.
