About
A shadow-play museum opened in 2007 in a building that served as a transformer station for about 30 years. Three galleries show the history of Karagöz, 119 shadow figures by master puppeteers, hand and string puppets from various countries and the materials used to make leather figures; there is a specialist library, a workshop and a 69-seat performance hall.
