About
An open-air museum opened on 12 September 2015 at the Aktopraklık Mound, an excavation site about 8,500 years old dug by Istanbul University since 2004. It has reconstructed villages from prehistory to the Ottoman period, houses moved from Eskikızılelma village, a smithy, granary, mill and bakery. Clay and excavation workshops are held.
