About

Ancient city dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite, with an on-site museum, at Geyre in Karacasu district. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017. Visitors see a stadium about 270 m long, a theatre, a temple later turned into a church, and sarcophagi and statues from the local sculpture school.
