About the festival

Türkiye's oldest film festival, held in Antalya since 1963. For a week, competition films, director talks and open-air screenings spread across the city's cinemas and squares. The Golden Orange statuette is the most prestigious award in Turkish cinema. This edition awards 31 categories, with 5 million lira for the national feature-film prize. Film Forum, which brings together young and independent producers, runs 25-27 October for the thirteenth time.

⛺ Where to stay

Festival week is one of Antalya's busiest

October is normally a quiet month, but central hotels fill up. Hotels in Kaleiçi and Muratpaşa are within walking distance of the venues; if you stay in Lara or Konyaaltı, plan your transport for evening screenings.

🚐 Getting there

Screenings are spread between the Antalya Culture Centre, Konyaaltı and venues around Kaleiçi. The nostalgic tram links Kaleiçi with the museum line, and ANTRAY runs towards Konyaaltı. Taxis get scarce after the late screenings — plan the trip back.
